Otava Group Agency (OGA) was founded in 2006. It represents foreign rights for Otava Publishing Company Ltd and Like Publishing Ltd.
Otava Publishing Company Ltd
Otava Publishing Company Ltd has published literature in Finnish since 1890. Its main areas of business are general-interest literature and teaching materials. Otava publishes over 600 new titles by Finnish and foreign authors annually: fiction and non-fiction, books for children and young people, textbooks and multimedia.
Around 50 of these titles are novels, short stories, and verse collections, and about 40 books for children and young people written by Finnish authors, a large number of whom are among today's most distinguished writers. In addition, Otava consciously carries on the tradition of publishing the work of talented young writers and supporting new and daring literary trends.
Most Otava publications are printed in Otava Book Printing Ltd, which also provides custom printing for clients at home and abroad.
